MANGO: He has to dress differently or it will come off lame. Ideally, some MMA-inspired gear should work well for him.
CARTER: I’d go with something different. Maybe capitalize on his Bellator career
STAPLE: Best way to determine that is to look at all of the other former WWE Superstars that made their way to AEW. Jericho has changed his look immensely from his latter WWE days, so Hager should do something similar to stand out, but ensure his personality is shown.
MITCHELL: Chris Jericho said the Jack Swagger days are gone, so Hager should dress differently. He’s been in MMA, so have him dress more like Brock Lesnar with the UFC shorts and small wrestling boots.
ABSLER: I think Swagger could wear a singlet, but he would have to make sure it was different than what he wore in WWE. Swagger could also get away with wearing shorts similar to Lesnar, but his character should be heavily based off of his MMA and wrestling career outside of WWE and AEW. He needs to be built strong and very resilient with lots of grappling, slams, and strikes.
SCAFIDE: Put Hager in some jeans and boots. Kickass and take names. Nothing more, nothing less.
CASSADA: Hager need to wear sometime different for his first AEW match. I think he should do something simple with shorts maybe like the ones he wears for Bellatar.
COOK: The further Hager can get away from his look as Jack Swagger, the better. Not that there’s anything wrong with a good old-fashioned red, white & blue wrestling singlet, but AEW is a new beginning for Jake Hager. I would definitely stay away from those colors. As for what he should wear, I’d recommend something similar to his MMA attire. Black attire is pretty boring, but it works.
