MANGO: No. Not for one split second.
JAY: 99% of the time WWE has made me 135% confident that Ricochet has less than a 10% chance of beating Lesnar. That is with a standard deviation of at least 1.21 gigawatts, give or take 7 loonies
STAPLE: Ricochet needed a 7 minute competitive outing to defeat Karl Anderson. 10% is being extremely generous.
MITCHELL: Sadly, I don’t give Ricochet that much of a chance. Not even because it’s BRRROCK, LESNARRR in there, but because we’re specifically getting The Beast VS The Scottish Stud at WrestleMania, which needs to happen so McIntyre can Claymore Lesnar’s bloody head off!
ABSLER: I don’t think Ricochet stands a chance against Brock Lesnar, but that doesn’t mean he’s a bad opponent for Brock. The match should be entertaining and Ricochet is a great challenger for the Beast, however, WWE has not made it seem like anybody has a chance of dethroning Lesnar until McIntyre faces him at Wrestlemania.
CASSADA: I know there’s been smaller opponents who’ve put up a good fight against Brock Lesnar. But as for Ricochet I feel his match with Lesnar isn’t going to live up to the hype. Ricochet is a good wrestler, however I don’t feel like he’s a credible enough of an opponent for Lesnar.
SCAFIDE: Okay, okay, enough with the funny business. I honestly would love to see Ricochet beat Lesnar for the title. This is the absolutely best way to make it happen. The one event you’d almost never expect Brock to lose, (or Ricochet win at that) with just over a month away from WrestleMania. Man, I can see Ricochet winning, making it a huge deal, BIG surprise, then Lesnar winning it right back at Elimination Chamber clean. Do I think he will win this Thursday? No, but I do have hope. I think WWE has not done anything to make it seem he will win. But that is a perfect illusion. I mean, I’m no writer or anything, just a silly fan.
