Two Actors Possibly Headed To WWE, The Rock’s “San Andreas” Continues To Kill It At The Box Office

— WWE officials are interested in signing Hafthor Bjornsson from Game of Thrones. He worked out at the Performance Center last week, and appeared in the crowd at the NXT Takeover: Unstoppable events. While he did work out at the Performance Center, a source that saw him train stated that he did not seem to have his heart in it.

— On Monday’s RAW, Stardust had a ringside confrontation with Arrow star Stephan Amell. Stardust also called out Amell in a RAW fallout video. WWE is looking to start a Stardust vs. Stephen Amell angle, and that Monday was the beginning of that. Amell is a huge wrestling fan and has campaigned to guest host RAW and even wrestle. As noted yesterday here on the website, Amell vs. Stardust is rumored for the WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view event.

— The Rock’s new film, “San Andreas” is up to approximately $55 million at the box office this weekend, doing better than most estimates and giving Rock his biggest opening weekend numbers not including the “Fast & Furious” franchise.
