Original: Randy Orton will be taking some time off from WWE, according to Pwinsider.com. WWE wrote him off television this past Monday night on RAW when the Wyatt Family attacked him.
Many believed that Orton would be Dean Ambrose and Reigns’ tag team partner at Night of Champions against the Wyatts, but that’s not the case.
Orton is not currently figured into storyline plans for the next several weeks.
We’ve reported in the past that Orton is looking for a lighter schedule and it appears that Orton is getting what he requested from management.
Update: Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer is reporting that Orton would be working on the weekend shows and Monday and Tuesday in Memphis and Little Rock.
Either way, will find out shortly what is exactly going on.
