WrestleMania 32 Predictions: Are WWE Leaning Towards An Attitude Era vs PG Era Route?

This is something I’ve been thinking about for a while now so I decided to make a thread about it, so lets get to it.

WrestleMania 32 is in Dallas, Texas. The event will take place at the Cowboys Stadium, the maximum capacity is estimated at around 105,000.

Vince McMahon loves trying to breaking new world records, he’s been doing it ever since WrestleMania 3. While the 93,173 attendance may have been over exaggerated, McMahon still to this day says that the Silverdome was his record crowd.

After doing some intensive research i found this not to be true! It was actually in the region of 75,000 to 78,000. Still a record at that point for WWE.

The WrestleMania 29 crowd was the biggest record, with an 80,676 attendance.Whatever you believe, you can be sure that the Cowboys Stadium Mania will top both Mania 3 and Mania 29.

WWE will set the show up for 75,000 but the maximum capacity with the floor seating will be in excess of 100,500. When you consider there are some huge names rumoured for returns at the show. The show looks to be sold out.

With all that being said it looks like Vince will call the old brigade from the Attitude Era to make sure that bench mark is hit and he’s not left looking the fool.

If Vince decides to choose this route, the whole card should be Attitude Era versus The PG Era. This will be WWE’s greatest PPV in history of PPV’s.

Here is my choices and predictions for WrestleMania 32 Attitude Era versus PG Era.

1st Match. Goldberg vs Ryback

This one is a no brainer. Ryback is so similar to Goldberg, all jacked up, bald wrecking-ball type, even the fans chanted ‘GOLDBERG’ during Rybacks first few months of debuting, those seem to have faded away now but the call for the match is still constantly talked about by wrestling fans.

If Ryback were to wrestle a returning star like Goldberg at WrestleMania, it could be the step that finally makes him a legitimate main eventer, and even more so if he wins. WWE would have a new star that could easily be slotted as a heel or babyface as needed,

2nd Match. Team Besties (Trish Stratus and Lita) vs The Bella Twins

During the WrestleMania 31 kickoff show, Lita appeared and discussed her “Team Besties” tour with Trish Stratus. Lita noted that the two have teamed together and will be doing more shows, including some in the UK and suggested that a WWE Network show could be in the cards.

When asked about a possible Team Besties vs. Bella Twins match, she hinted that it could happen, and perhaps at WrestleMania 32. Winners: Team Besties.

3rd Match. Stone Cold Steve Austin vs Dean Ambrose

Although it was hinted this week that the seed had been planted for a Stone Cold versus Brock Lesnar match! I have my doubts about this considering Steves past health issues. Brock Lesnar would be the last person on earth Austin would want to face. Dean Ambrose would be the safer bet in my opinion. After all, Ambrose is the ‘New Generation’ of stone cold steve austin.

If this match were to happen and Steve is fit and helthy, then i see no reason for him to not pass the torch on to Dean Ambrose. So my pick is Ambrose to get the win.

4th Match. The Undertaker vs Sting

Two of the greatest wrestlers in professional wrestling history!

The WWE Universe, is waiting for the fantasy match between the two to take place. The Undertakers status for WrestleMania 32 is looking promising.
Will the Undertaker and Sting ever wrestle each other?

That’s the big question floating around much of the WWE Universe. If there was any doubt that these two legends would never face off in the squared circle, there is still hope. According to Dave Meltzer, Sting and the Undertaker are scheduled to wrestle each other at WrestleMania 32. This match is sure to happen. Will it be as epic as we want it? Maybe not, but it’s still a match everyone will want to see.

5th Match. Kevin Owens vs The Rock (IC Title Match)

For those that don’t know, The Rock has been a big supporter and friend of Kevin Steen (owens) for years. The Rock was also very impressed with Kevin Owens debut in NXT.

Now, most of you know how great Kevin Owens is after the Elimination Chamber PPV in which Kevin pinned the mighty John Cena in clean win by pinfall in a classic match-up

But one has to ask, why does The Rock respect Kevin Owens so much? Well today i can reveal to you why this is.

Both Kevin Owens and The Rock draw their power from the almighty Brahma Bull, that is tattooed on their right shoulders! It makes sense, they must have both gone through the Brahma Bull tattoo ritual that only a select few wrestlers get to go through. That being said, Kevin Owens is the rightful heir to the title of “The Peoples Champion”.

All hail our new Peoples Champion, Kevin Owens. It would make sense for The Rock to “put over” his long term friend Kevin Steen at WrestleMania as this could only elevate his career even further.

6th Match. John Cena vs Hulk Hogan (US Title Match)

Hulk Hogan has been pushing and pushing for a match with Cena. His dream just may come true at WM32!

If he’s willing, and can pass the physical, they could do a retirement match for Hogans last hoorah at were it all started WRESTLEMANIA. A perfect send off for the great man himself.

Hogan hasn’t wrestled at a WrestleMania since 2003 against The Rock. The crowd that night were electric for Hogan, unexpected to say the least.

Word is, Hogan and Cena were supposed to wrestle back in 2009 at Mania 25, but those plans fell through after Batista, who was supposed to be in the main event of WrestlMania’s 25th anniversary show got hurt, and WWE needed a main-event caliber star to replace him, so Cena got the nod.

7th Match. Seth Rollins vs Sami Zayn

Rollins vs Zayn would surely be a match that the fans would want to see, and given the popularity of Zayn, who knows how soon he could be back on the main roster and challenging Rollins? As long as Zayn stays healthy, his future in the WWE could reach great heights. Winner Sami Zayn

HBK Shawn Michaels vs Daniel Bryan (Student vs Teacher)

HBK has already discussed the idea of facing Bryan and claimed that it would be an interesting concept. He added that it isn’t an innovative idea really, as it has been done before. But it will be fun for people to watch. WWE could ptray the storyline of student versus teacher if this match was to happen. Winner Shawn Michaels.

9th Match. Triple H vs Roman Reigns

Reigns and Ambrose seems to be chasing Rollins for the WWE Title at the moment. Reigns will dissconect from that soon, as Triple H is looking most likely the inevitable opponent for him.

From a storyline perspective, it’s only a matter of time until The Game and Reigns cross paths. Reigns has become a thorn in The Authority’s side, and that is not a good thing for the boss, who demands complete control of every situation. Winner Roman Reigns

Final Match. Randy Orton vs Brock Lesnar (WWE WorldHeavyweight Championship Match)

The Apex Predator is destined to face The Beast Incarnate.

It’s a match-up made in booking heaven. WWE’s powerhouse freak of nature Brock Lesnar has steamrolled through opponents from the moment he first debuted on the main roster. He’s accomplished more in his total of five years in WWE than most men have in three times that amount.

His latest incarnation as the unstoppable MMA hybrid is that WWE have built him as virtually unbeatable. He has just as much fire now as he did back in 2002 when he first debuted

Like Orton, Lesnar has done it all in WWE. But there is still something left to prove.
The reason for that lies with Orton himself because he’s the one guy Lesnar hasn’t beaten yet. This match could be perfect to close the show with Brock retaining his belt.

What do you think? Will ANY of these matches happen?

Please leave your opinions or who you think will be on the WrestleMania 32 card below.
