Wrestling needs to gain back some credibility. It needs to stop doing ludicrous things like having actors beat wrestlers. In the 70’s, Jerry Lawler and Kaufman had a feud. At the end of the match, Kaufman was pile driven by Lawler and was carried out in an ambulance. With no training, logically, a pro wrestler should have destroyed an actor. To be credible, Amell should have been destroyed and definitely lost.
When Bam Bam Bigelow wrestled Laurence Taylor, Taylor was the baddest man in football. Both were athletes in a combat type sport and it made sense they would have a great match. Although Bam Bam should have won, at least he was a big tough football player.
