As reported earlier on the site, The Miz and Paige are scheduled to be in the next WWE Studios film, “Santa’s Little Helper”, that will be released on Digital HD, Blu-ray and DVD this holiday season.
WWE has canceled Paige’s appearance at Wizard World Las Vegas on April 25th due to the film and she has also been taking off advertisements for upcoming live events.
Paige is obviously taking time off to shoot the film and WWE did an injury angle on last night’s episode of WWE RAW to write her off of TV.
WWE.com gave the following storyline injury update:
“Naomi’s attack on Paige following the Divas Battle Royal has left the No. 1 contender to the Divas Title injured.”
“Though the specifics have yet to be confirmed, early reports suggest that Paige suffered internal injuries as a result of the attack, which saw The Diva of Tomorrow beaten outside the ring and thrown into the barricade repeatedly.”
