WWE for Palestine?

As we all know by now, there is little to no room for creative fredom within the WWE, unless you are the Rock, Stone cold or John Cena.

So when Sammy Zayn comes out with a T-shirt marked with  a Palestinian flag and victory sign, one can assume it was reviewed and approved by the WWE management in advanced.

This brings us to the question – would they allow any member of their roster to support ISIS if they felt its what they believe in? What about legalizing Canabis or prostitution?

We still remember the Muhammad Hassan incident and how the WWE immidiately terminate the storyline due to the sensativity of that issue. So while WWE are pushing their Network in Israel and get a large coverage, it make such a controversy statement with this T-shirt.

In his Glory days as Champion, Bill Goldberg never displayed his Jewish origin on main WCW/WWE screen time , we can assume it was done to keep the politics out of this game field. I think it was a wise decision back then.

And don’t get me wrong – We are all for peace and co-existance but as the conflict and the Ashes of the war we just had is still hot, such a statement is an unnecessary  provocation that should not happen on main WWE TV..

Sammy Zayn’s origin is well known and he has a god given right to support whoever he wants but WWE TV is not the place for private political statements. So is this a corporate statement?

I wonder what Paul Heyman would say?
