Welcome to Thursday Night SmackDown, the show opens with The Miz in the ring for Miz TV. He hyped the WWE World Heavyweight Championship tournament at this Sunday’s Survivor Series PPV. Kevin Owens walked out first and said that this is now the Kevin Owens show. Alberto Del Rio and Zeb Colter walk down to the ring talking about MexAmercia. Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns come down to the ring. Ambrose told Miz to take a seat and let him talk. Ambrose promised that he would be walking out of Survivor Series as WWE Champion. R-Truth came out to the ring and said that he would beat all of them this Sunday. He promised to become WWE Champion. Miz then reminded him that he is not in the match. Truth remembered and wished Ambrose and Reigns good luck this Sunday. The Miz started to complain about how everyone is interrupting him, and that’s it is disrespectful. Reigns told Miz to chill, which led to Ambrose punching him. Del Rio and Owens left the ring with Ambrose and Reigns standing tall in the ring.
-Commercial Break-
The Miz attempted to cut a promo about how awesome he is, but Cesaro interrupted.
Singles match: Cesaro vs. The Miz.
Cesaro landed a back elbow then locked in the cross face for the win.
Winner: Cesaro
-Commercial Break-
Six-man tag team match: Neville and The Dudley Boyz vs. Stardust and The Ascension.
Neville and Stardust started the match off. Neville landed a hip toss to him then hit a shoulder block, but when he ran into the ropes, Konnor pulled the rope down, and he fell to the floor hard. Konnor landed a big boot to Neville to send us to break.
-Commercial Break-
We’re back from break with the heels in control of Neville. Moments later, Neville fought back with a dropkick. Then both teams got into the match, and a brawl broke out. Neville took out Konnor with a dive. Bubba Ray was tagged in and hit the 3-D on Viktor for the win.
Winners: Neville and The Dudley Boyz
-Commercial Break-
Tyler Breeze cuts a promo in the ring about Dolph Ziggler. Breeze said that Summer Rae dumped Dolph Ziggler for him.
Singles match: Tyler Breeze vs. Zack Ryder at ringside.
Breeze controlled the majority of this short match and won after avoiding a drop kick then hit the Beauty Shot for the win.
Winner: Breeze.
Post-match, Ziggler attacked Breeze and connected with a superkick to him to end the segment.
-Commercial Break-
Bray Wyatt and The Wyatt Family are in the ring with the druids wearing sheep masks standing around ringside. Bray Wyatt cuts a promo on The Undertaker and Kane. Bray said that it could be any of his brothers as his tag team partner this Sunday. Braun Strowman said that he would crush the Undertaker and Kane’s bones to dust. This leads to Undertaker appearing on the big screen with Kane to cut a promo hyping their match this Sunday at Survivor Series. Kane appears in the segment with a burning sheep mask. Undertaker said that Bray does not hold the cards, but just rather holds a dead man’s hand. He will reclaim his power. He promised that they all fall down and that they will all fall down. Then the ring posts explode with the druids also falling down at the same time to end the segment.
-Commercial Break-
Non-Title match: Charlotte vs. Brie Bella.
They lock up; Charlotte hit a series of head takeovers. She ran into a back elbow by Brie. Brie then sent her into the ropes then landed a series of kicks. Brie hit a series of knees to the face of the champ. They hit a double clothesline. Charlotte hit a series of clotheslines then hit a spear followed by the Figure Eight for the win.
Winner: Charlotte
Paige cuts a backstage promo about her match with Charlotte at this Sunday’s Survivor Series.
-Commercial Break-
Singles match Big E vs. Kalisto.
Kalisto hit a series of quick strikes. He went for a springboard dive, but was distracted by The New Day. Big E caught him with a big splash for the win.
Winner: Big E
Post-match, New Day tried to attack Kalisto, but Sin Cara and Ryback made the save before too much damage was done to Kalisto. Ryback hit a splash to Big E and stood tall in the ring.
-Commercial Break-
Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose talk backstage about how there is a chance that they might have to fight each other at Survivor Series. Reigns said that he will fight Ambrose just like anyone else. Ambrose agreed and said he would do the same.
Tag team match: Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose vs. Kevin Owens and Alberto Del Rio.
Ambrose and Del Rio started things off. Ambrose hit a forearm strike in the corner then a bull dog in the corner. Del Rio caught him with a head kick then sent him into the barricade. Back in the ring, Del Rio caught him with another kick and then locked in a headlock. Ambrose fought out of the headlock and tagged in Reigns, who cleaned house on Owens. Reigns kicked Owens in the chest then hit the drive by on the apron. Reigns with more clotheslines hit a big boot. Reigns knocked Del Rio off the apron and then hit a power slam to Owens for a near fall as Del Rio broke up the pinfall. Del Rio put the boots to Reigns, but Reigns sent Del Rio to the floor. Owens with a superkick. Ambrose hit Owens with a drop kick then hit a dive through the ropes. Ambrose clotheslines Del Rio over the announce table. Reigns hit a superman punch to Owens. Del Rio sent Reigns into the steel steps for the DQ.
Winners: Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose via DQ
Post-match a brawl broke between the four men. Reigns hit a spear to Del Rio. Reigns and Ambrose stood next to the WWE Title and looked at each other to close the show.
