The semifinals of the 2023 New Japan Cup tournament took place on Sunday at the New Japan Pro Wrestling event in Takasaki, Japan.

This is where David Finlay beat NEVER Openweight Champion Tama Tonga while SANADA scored the win over Mark Davis, who replaced an injured Will Opsreay.

They will meet on March 21st to determine the 2023 New Japan Cup winner.
