WWE has released this week’s quick hits preview for WWE SmackDown. You can view them along with some excerpts below to get ready for tonight’s episode as we learn more about this new Wild Card Rule in WWE’s brand extension.

Of course, eWrestlingNews will have all of the WWE SmackDown coverage tonight beginning at 8 P.M. Eastern:

Shane McMahon will crown new SmackDown Tag Team Champions

SmackDown LIVE was thrown for a loop last week when, due to Jeff Hardy sustaining a knee injury at the hands of Lars Sullivan, The Hardy Boyz had to relinquish the SmackDown Tag Team Titles.
With the state of both the blue brand’s tag team division and the titles in question, Shane McMahon will arrive on SmackDown LIVE this Tuesday to crown new SmackDown Tag Team Champions.
What will Shane-O-Mac decree?

Which Raw Superstars will take advantage of the “Wild Card Rule?”

Last night on Raw, Mr. McMahon dropped a bombshell by announcing the Wild Card Rule, which will allow no more than four Superstars from SmackDown LIVE to appear on Raw each week and four Raw Superstars on SmackDown LIVE, without facing any punishment.
WWE Champion Kofi Kingston, Roman Reigns, Daniel Bryan and Lars Sullivan took advantage of the new precedent, with Bryan and Kingston squaring off for the WWE Title in the main event, Reigns clashing with Drew McIntyre in a WrestleMania rematch and Lars Sullivan demolishing No Way Jose and his conga line, then storming into Mr. McMahon’s office, prompting the expansion of the Wild Card Rule from three Superstars to four.
Will any of the red brand’s stars take advantage of the new rule? Who could they mix it up with on the blue brand?
