In a recent interview with Bleacher Report, Adam “Edge” Copeland revealed what he aims to accomplish in AEW.

Copeland discussed the benefits he gained from consulting with veterans in the wrestling industry in his younger days and how he enjoys helping the next generation of talents.

You can check out some highlights from the interview below:

On contributing to the growth and development of younger talent: “So, yeah, there’s still goals. And that’s cool. That’s fun. That’s the challenge of it. And there’s the aspect of trying to leave the industry a better place, or at least adding something to it to further it along. And whether that’s just passing on knowledge or helping a character or a young talent, find their voice. That’s really fun.”

On being a resource to other wrestlers: “I felt like with AEW, there was a huge opportunity for that. And this isn’t a comparison to anything. It just feels like I can help more with AEW, and that’s exciting to me. I’ve told everybody, and everybody knows this, and this is still open to WWE talent. Everybody knows if you want to pick my brain, I’m always here. If anybody wants to pick my brain, just like so many veteran talent let me pick their brains when I was coming in. That’s part of the gig now. And that’s a really fun, exciting part of the gig to see lightbulbs go off for people when you say something.”

The Hardys and Isiah Kassidy challenged The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn for the AEW World Trios Championships in a losing effort a few weeks ago on an episode of AEW Rampage.

On a recent edition of his “The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy” podcast, Matt Hardy reflected on the title match, and you can check out some highlights from the podcast below:

On Bowens thanking them after the match: “Anthony Bowens came back he said, ‘I just want to thank you and Jeff. I don’t think you realize when I was growing up you guys were my favorite. You guys made me feel like it’s okay to be different, you don’t have to be like everybody else. It was really such an honor and it was such a pleasure to be in the ring with you tonight. It means so much to me,’”

On facing Bowens: “It was cool to get in the ring with him. He’s great, he’s a great guy and I just love everything that he stands for.”
