The following is from our play-by-play coverage of the AEW Double or Nothing 2020 pay-per-view event:
AEW World Heavyweight Title Match: Jon Moxley (c) vs. Brodie Lee
They brawled to start the match. There was a lot of leeway from the referee as they brawled past the barricade and Lee sent Moxley into a board. They fought back into the ring and Lee caught him with a back suplex. Moxley back dropped Lee off the steel steps through the table. Lee sent him through cardboard signs then powerslamed him onto one of them. Back in the ring, Lee hit him with a big boot then a powerbomb for 2.
Moxley fought back and they went to the stage where Moxley threw a small poker chip at Lee. Moxley hit his DDT finisher off the higher part of the stage through the part that leads up to the ring. When they emerged, Lee was bleeding from his head. Back in the ring, Moxley hit the DDT finisher again for 1 then Moxley attacked him with a series of strikes. Moxley hit the finisher again for the near fall then locked in a rear-naked choke for the win.
Winner: Moxley
