Following Christian Cage’s rather disrespectful words and actions in recent weeks, Wardlow is out to kick off the show. The TNT Champion calls for Christian to come out and spit in his face like he claimed he would do.

Cage makes his way down to the ring alongside Luchasaurus, and after Christian and Wardlow trade some verbal barbs, Luchasaurus takes a cheap shot. Wardlow eventually starts getting the better of both of them, until Christian catches him with a low blow. Christian and Luchasaurus then layeth down a ladder-assisted smackdown on the TNT Champion, and Christian executes a devastating Killswitch on Wardlow on the ladder to stand tall.

#1. Orange Cassidy & Darby Allin vs. Big Bill & Lee Moriarty – Winners: Orange Cassidy & Darby Allin

Following his patented Coffin Drop, Darby Allin took Moriarty down with a side headlock takeover for the three-count, sending a message to MJF.

We cut to the parking lot where Alex Marvez intercepts the Young Bucks, Nick and Matt Jackson, for an interview regarding Kenny Omega’s health status. However, before they can respond, the Blackpool Combat Club stealthily approaches from behind.

Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, and Wheeler Yuta aggressively attack Nick and Matt. Amidst the mayhem, Mox emphatically shouts at the camera that the BCC are the only ones “Elite” in the business.

******

Backstage with Renee Moxley Good is Wardlow, and Arn Anderson. To get to the crux, Wardlow challenges Christian to a ladder match or his title at Double or Nothing.

#2. Sammy Guevara vs. Exodus Prime – Winner: Sammy Guevara

Following a quick squash win, Sammy talks about his early days on the Texas independent wrestling scene and emphasizing how every step of his journey has paved the way for his opportunity at Double or Nothing, where he vows to become the AEW World Champion.

We see a “Four Pillars” hype package to go.

Tony Schiavone is standing by in the ring for an interview with Jeff Jarrett & Jay Lethal. As they make their way to the ring alongside Sonjay Dutt and Satnam Singh, FTR attack the heels.

We suddenly see Karen Jarrett appear, who turns the tables following a low blow. JJ & J then take the guitars Sonjay had brought to the ring and you know, smash them on the backs of Cash & Dax. The champions are down and out as the challengers stand tall and pose with the titles.

Backstage, Renee Moxley Good interviews Darby Allin about MJF and Double or Nothing. However, their conversation is interrupted by Sammy Guevara. Sammy acknowledges Darby’s lack of trust but assures him that he won’t lay down for anyone at Double or Nothing. He declares that whether it’s himself, Jungle Boy, or Darby, one of them will become the new AEW Champion and dethrone MJF. Darby responds with a simple “may the best man win” and the segment concludes with a fist bump between the two.

#3. Ruby Soho & Toni Storm vs. Britt Baker & Hikaru Shida –Winners: Ruby Soho & Toni Storm

******

In usual convoluted fashion, Orange Cassidy, backstage with Renee Moxley Good, declares that at DoN, he will defend the AEW International Championship in a 21-man Blackjack Battle Royale.

Back from the commercial break, Tony Khan is here to deliver a “huge announcement.” He wastes no time in revealing that AEW Collision is set to debut on June 17, airing on TNT at 8/7c, as if that wasn’t announced in a press release earlier in the morning. He proceeds to unveil a schedule showcasing upcoming episodes, which will showcase an extensive tour of Canada, as if that warrants TK announcing that. TK then announces that he will disclose the location for the inaugural episode of AEW Collision on next week’s Dynamite, which is obviously the United Centre in Chicago.

Let me get this straight. This cocaine-riding buffoon is appearing on the show three weeks in a row to announce absolutely nothing. Unbelievable!

******

#4. Roderick Strong vs. Chris Jericho (Falls Count Anywhere) – Winner: Roderick Strong

The ending saw both men make their way out of the arena, where Adam Cole starts assaulting Jericho, since Cole and J.A.S. were “only banned from the building.” This allows Strong to pick up a huge win.

******

#5. RUSH vs. Jungle Boy – Winner: Jungle Boy

The man called Rush was dominant here for the most part before Mr. Boy rolled up the man called Rush for the win, but Los Faccios Ingobernable (phew, that’s hard to spell) attack him after the match. Schiavone notes how this likely has to do with MJF before Darby Allin makes the save and is beat down. Sammy Guevara now makes the save and both men fight back to gain the upper hand before Los Faccios Ingobernable (phew, that’s hard to spell) retreat.

Sammy and Darby stare down before Jungle Boy gets up and then it’s a Triple Threat staredown.

******

Mrs. Moxley Good is backstage with MJF, who looks visibly pissed. She talks about Double or Nothing and the Four Pillars and the AEW World Championship but Maxi-Pad just smacks the mic out of Renee’s hand, grills her and then walks off.

******

Backstage, Mrs. Moxley Good is standing by with Toni Storm,, who challenges Jamie Hayter for the Women’s title at DoN.

******

#6. Jay White vs. Ricky Starks – Winner: Jay White (via DQ)

Frequent interferences by Juice Robinson got to Ricky, who got a steel chair and assaulted both men to send a message.

******

Back from the break, Excalibur orgasms all over himself as he runs down Rampage and Double or Nothing.

******

Tonight’s main event is… Don Callis, Tony Schiavone and the revelation. Schiavone all but yells at him and scolds him for his actions. Fallus says Kenny Omega is not the victim, he is. He spews some bull**** before Omega comes out on the stage.

Fallus sends security guards his way, and as Omega deals with them, he is blindsided by the BCC. They leave hi laying on the ramp and head down to the ring. Moxley gets on the mic and starts talking, and I consequently stop listening, ’cause he is now just intolerable, and The Young Bucks’ theme plays. They walk out stumbling with trash cans and whatnot. As they face-off, Hangman Page’s music plays, who now has a pirate eye-patch.

A phony brawl with phony weapons ensues, and as The Elite get the best of the BCC, Page proclaims that they are The Elite. At Double or Nothing, it will be ‘Anarchy in the Arena.’

******

That’s it for tonight, another insufferable episode of AEW Dynamite. Until next time…
