AEW Tag Team Champions The Acclaimed vs. Swerve In Our Glory was booked at this year’s AEW Full Gear pay-per-view event. The following is the play-by-play coverage of the match:
Lee had a nasty fall to the floor on his knee. The champs beatdown Swerve with quick tags. The challengers then took over and worked over the arm of Bowens including using the barricade. Caster got the hot tag and hit a back body drop to Swerve then some kicks to Lee. Caster with a hurricanrana to Lee. Caster with a leg drop off the top rope to Lee then a major league powerslam to Swerve. Caster with a crossbody off the top rope to Lee off the apron through part of the barricade. Swerve with several head kicks to Bowens, who didn’t give up. Bowens fired up with a powerslam then the mic drop from Caster to Swerve for 2. Swerve was going to smash Caster’s finger, but Billy Gunn came out to stop it. Swerve wanted Lee to smash Bowens’ finger, but he refused. Swerve slapped him and Lee walked out on him. Bowens rolled him up for 2. The Acclaimed went over for 2.
