AEW presented Fyter Fest last night from the Ocean Center in Daytona, Florida. The event was held in conjunction with the 2019 CEO Fighting Game Championships.
During the post Fyter Fest media scrum, it was revealed the event would become a yearly event. AEW Owner & President Tony Khan made the statement “every time we come to CEO, which will be once a year”, while discussing the hardcore match on the “Buy In” pre-show.
Previously, the Young Bucks indicated the event was a one time occurrence. However, it seems Tony Khan’s plans are for AEW’s partnership with CEO to continue.
“I really liked it. I thought it was really fun. People seemed to have a good time. I think we could do this every year. I don’t know why I wouldn’t want to come back and do this, and Alex is a great partner.”
