All Elite Wrestling is still looking to expand its roster despite making several high-profile, high-dollar signings in recent memory.

March 2024 saw Will Ospreay have his first match under an AEW contract while Kauchika Okada and Mercedes Mone would officially join the promotion.

On a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer dismissed the notion that these massive signings mean AEW won’t be signing anyone new for a while. He said,

“I know that AEW is looking at people whose contracts are up. Whether they get anyone I don’t know, but they’re definitely looking.

“Sometimes you think that they made this big, big investment with Okada, Ospreay and Mercedes and maybe they’re not looking for other people, but they still are.”

Okada and Ospreay were both victorious at the recent AEW Dynasty pay-per-view event. Mercedes Mone is set to challenge for the AEW TBS Championship at Double or Nothing 2024.
