Jeff Jarrett was very impressed with the Young Bucks’ attack on Sting & Darby Allin which left the brothers covered in the blood of their enemies.

The Bucks, now going by Matthew & Nicholas Jackson, attacked Sting and Allin on last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, shortly after the faces won the AEW World Tag Team Titles.

On a recent edition of his “My World” podcast, Jarrett discussed the shocking and bloody segment, which he was impressed by. He said,

“I thought it clicked on every cylinder. I was happy to see it in so many ways. And Matthew and Nicholas leaning into the EVPs, and just…the celebration afterward, it felt like everything was breathing, [with] Sting’s boys in there and…long-time Sting watchers, which we both are, we would’ve never called ‘Hey, the boys need to get their ass kicked.’ So well done. Absolutely well done.”

Jarrett also addressed Sting’s impending retirement which will come at next month’s Revolution pay-per-view. He said,

“I think in a lot of ways…not just the AEW fanbase, but the professional wrestling fanbase is eager to see a send-off because it truly is [a send-off]. And that’s…when you get down into the promoter mentality, give them something that they’ll never, ever see again, well this is it.”

Sting and Allin will defend the AEW World Tag Team Championships against the Young Bucks at AEW Revolution 2024.
