Konnan has nothing but high praise for Eddie Kingston these days.

Kingston, who is the current AEW Continental Crown Champion, knows how to get over with fans due to his promo work according to the AAA booker.

You can check out some highlights from Konnan’s ‘Keepin’ It 100′ podcast below:

On Kingston rising toward the top in AEW and ROH: “The biggest factor for Eddie is he’s super over with the fans. He cuts very realistic, different promos. he doesn’t sound like everybody else, they don’t sound like wrestling promos.”

On Kingston’s physique: “Look at Dusty [Rhodes] who was my idol … we all know overweight guys that are tough, and he’s probably over with Tony [Khan] too. It ain’t like he doesn’t deserve the push.”

Actor Paul Walter Hauser continues to defend the professional wrestling business.

In a recent appearance on The Late Show, Hauser dropped some wrestling-related rhymes while accepting his Best Supporting Actor – Limited Anthology Series or Movie for his role in Blackbird. For those unaware, Hauser will also be facing off against Matt Cardona at Wrestling REVOLVER’s ‘Ready or Not’ event on March 16th.

You can check out some highlights from the interview below:

On being a wrestling fan: “I love wrestling. I grew up watching it, and I never graduated from that. People are like, ‘You know it’s fake.’ You know what’s also fake? Me being a serial killer in Black Bird. That’s also not a real thing. I decided I wanted to do this. Bruce Willis famously plays the harmonica and that was another talent of his, a thing he did when he wasn’t acting. I was like, ‘Maybe wrestling can be my harmonica’”

On his previous appearance in Wrestling REVOLVER: “This guy Sami Callihan said, ‘Do you want to making a cameo appearance at our wrestling pay-per-view? It’s for charity.’ I said, ‘Of course. If it’s for charity, I’ll do it.’ He goes, ‘Do you want to wrestle?’ ‘What? Okay. Yeah, man.’ I did some training and we put on a fun show.”
