It is highly likely that Mercedes Mone will join AEW in the near future.
According to a report from Fightful Select, Tony Khan’s upcoming announcement on AEW Dynamite could potentially be about Mone’s signing or a Boston, MA date for Dynamite, where she would make her debut.
While it is believed that the announcement is related to Mone’s impending debut in AEW, it is not confirmed whether her signing will be explicitly mentioned.
Some sources suggest that Mone may make her AEW debut in March, possibly after the Revolution 2024 pay-per-view event on March 6th. However, the exact timing of her promotional debut for the company remains uncertain.
WWE had already known since December 29th that they would not be signing Mone after failed negotiations, and she likely would not have been able to participate in the 2024 Royal Rumble either. While there is an impression that Mercedes has been signed with AEW for several weeks, this has not been officially confirmed.
