At Friday night’s NJPW ‘Windy City Riot’ event in Chicago, IL, Jack Perry faced off against Shota Umino in singles action.
As you’d expect, there was a lot of interest over how the fans in CM Punk’s hometown of Chicago would react to Perry just days after the All In 2023 incident footage aired on AEW Dynamite.
As you can see below, a nearly sold out crowd of over 6,300 fans at the Wintrust Arena in Chicago were very much behind Perry, loudly singing “OHHHH CRY ME A RIVER!” in unison.
