As promised, the Young Bucks aired the backstage footage from the CM Punk and Jack Perry altercation from All In 2023 on this week’s episode of Dynamite.
In a backstage segment, the Young Bucks cut a promo where they discussed their upcoming match with FTR at the AEW Dynasty pay-per-view event. The two noted that the last time they faced off against FTR at All In 2023, they lost. They said part of the reason for that is because they had to deal with an “incident” that took place backstage. The Young Bucks mentioned Jack Perry by name and defended him. It’s worth noting that they didn’t mention CM Punk by name, but did state that FTR was friends with the other person involved and questioned whether FTR may have been involved to get them off their game as they dealt with “EVP problems.” The two said there should be an asterisk on that loss.
The Young Bucks then aired the security footage from Wembley Stadium, which didn’t feature any sound. But it does show Perry and Punk clearly arguing, which leads to Punk shoving Perry and a brief scuffle breaks out. Several people, including Samoa Joe, pulled Perry and Punk apart in quick fashion.
You can check out the footage below:
(EDIT: It appears AEW is pulling the footage as it’s being posted online by different fans so we’ll keep updating the tweets below!)
