During Sunday’s AEW Revolution 2024 pay-per-view event, Will Ospreay defeated Konosuke Takeshita in a traditional singles match.
It was Ospreay’s first AEW match since his signing in November, and Don Callis was on commentary to witness his two proteges tear the house down in Greensboro.
Ospeay nailed Takeshita with the Tiger Driver ’91 and Hidden Blade for the pin to win.
Following the match, both men bowed to each other as a show of respect. Ospreay’s United Empire comrade Kyle Fletcher congratulated him ahead of their ROH Television Title match on AEW Dynamite.
