Matt Cardona will be facing off against Alex Kane for a shot at the MLW World Heavyweight Championship at the upcoming MLW One Shot event, which takes place on December 7th.
Of course, Cardona must win his “Loser Leaves MLW” match against Mance Warner at MLW Fightland on November 18th. If Cardona loses that match, MSL will instead pick a mystery opponent to challenge for the title.

In other news, Alex Shelley has been pulled from next weekend’s Prestige Wrestling event due to not being medically cleared to compete. Prestige announced the news via Twitter on Thursday.
Shelley was set to team with Cody Chhun & Guillermo Rosas to face off against Alan Angels and Sinner & Saint on the show. He will still be appearing for a post-show meet & greet.
Impact Wrestling President Scott D’Amore recently revealed that Shelley pulled a calf muscle during the UK Invasion tour. D’Amore said,
“He’s gonna need a little bit of rest and a little bit of time but he’s gonna be more than healthy and ready before he needs to be back in an IMPACT Wrestling ring. So it’s going to be a good chance for him to rest and recharge. Like this company, like this group does, this talent and crew they rallied around each other. Before I even had a chance to turn my mind towards it talent were coming up and offering suggestions and one of them was Frankie Kazarian stepping up.”
