Apollo Crews made a surprise return to WWE NXT 2.0 on Wednesday night and teased a potential match against Bron Breakker for the NXT Championship.
After Breakker addressed his victory over Joe Gacy at NXT: ‘In Your House’, he switched his attention to the future and asked who was next to challenge him for his title. That’s when Crews’ music hit, and the fans in attendance cheered with excitement over seeing Crews return to his roots. Interestingly, Crews didn’t speak in his Nigerian accent and acted mainly like a babyface.

Now that Crews has returned to NXT, it’s only a matter of time before more NXT alumni return to the third brand.
