As many of you know by now, AJ Styles has been absent from WWE’s European tour. Also, Styles has only wrestled sparingly since his match with Randy Orton at WrestleMania 35. It was reported that he suffered a hip injury during that match.
Although the hip injury is likely the key factor in having him work a lighter schedule, it could also be because he recently signed a new WWE contract and was said to have been negotiating for limited house show dates.
As of this writing, Styles is still set to face Seth Rollins for the WWE Universal Championship at the Money In The Bank pay-per-view events. He is also announced for a RAW live event in Paris as well as the remaining SmackDown! live events of the current tour.
