In a recent appearance on the “Gorilla Position” podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels named AJ Styles as the guy he’d like to face for one more match at WrestleMania.
Michaels, who last wrestled at Crown Jewel 2018, also noted that the time has passed for an in-ring return.
He said, “I think the one we really want to see is me and AJ. That’s where I go with. It’s also as the more talent comes along, you start looking at them. I always, I still do it now. I look at it like, boy, I can do cool stuff with him. I can do cool stuff with him. But I think AJ, I think AJ and I can get similar styles and stuff like that. So I always feel like that would be one people would want to see. So I think that would be my go-to in this particular moment.”

In a recent appearance on the “Those Wrestling Girls” podcast, WWE NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez beat her drum by calling herself the best Superstar in WWE today.
Perez said, “This is definitely a new era, you know. I think for so long I was holding this name, The Prodigy, on the back of my shoulders and I felt like a pressure to live up to it. I think now this new era of Roxanne is just like, no, I know that I am The Prodigy. I know who I am. I know that I’m one of the best not just in NXT, but in the WWE.”
