Bryan Danielson returned to AEW television on Saturday’s episode of Collision to set up a Strap Match with Ricky Starks at tonight’s All Out 2023 pay-per-view event.

The top AEW wrestler had been sidelined with a broken arm since June, an injury he suffered when competing in a match at the AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door II pay-per-view event.

According to a recent report, Danielson was expected to return at the beginning of October and maybe in time for the Wrestle Dream pay-per-view event on October 1. On today’s edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer was questioned by Bryan Alvarez about Danielson’s return from injury much sooner than he had expected.

Meltzer clarified that Danielson was going to be back in October and it was touch and go for mid-September. He returned about 17 days earlier than expected.
