Roman Reigns is currently penciled in to win the 30-Man Royal Rumble Match before he slated to face Brock Lesnar for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 31, however the decision has made some critics very skeptical.

Critics feel that Reigns doesn’t have very good mic skills and feels that he still needs work on improving his skills during very long singles matches. Despite the concern, the WWE needs a new top babyface and it is reportedly reserved for Reigns. Other names such as Randy Orton and Daniel Bryan have been briefly considered for the role, however Orton isn’t a new star, and Bryan isn’t ready to come back, not to mention that he isn’t the WWE’s “type,” no matter how over he is with the WWE Universe.

Dean Ambrose is rumored to be next in line after Reigns, and even though he is a better worker when it comes to in-ring and mic skills, he doesn’t fit the “big guy” mold that Vince McMahon tends to clamor for in terms of being a top guy. Both Reigns and Ambrose are doing very well with merchandise sales, including Ambrose’s new hooded sweatshirt being the top-selling item over the Thanksgiving holiday, but Reigns will still be considered to be the new top babyface Superstar in the WWE.
