As many of you know, there was a delay with WWE WrestleMania 37 tickets going on sale. While tickets were originally set to go on sale on March 15, that date was pushed back to March 19. According to Jon Alba of Spectrum Sports 360, the reason for the delay was because WWE simply had not yet signed its contract agreement with the Tampa Sports Authority. The official contract wasn’t completed until March 16.
While the official capacity limit is not mentioned in the contract, it is said that they are looking for a paid attendance of around 25,000 per night for WrestleMania 37 at Raymond James Stadium.

So #WWE had mentioned on TV that Monday night logistics were still being worked out, hence the delay. This would indicate a contract was not done between both sides at the time of the initial planned sale. Eventually, they went on-sale later that week. #WrestleMania

COVID protocols are important this year, and there's certainly explicit language when it comes to liability with organizations running major events like this. But this likely gives context for the delay. An official capacity limit is not listed, though #WWE announced about 25K.
