Fightful Select is reporting that while the identity of The Devil in AEW still hasn’t been revealed, it’s unclear who is playing the role.
While Jack Perry has been rumored to be The Devil ever since he got suspended for his involvement in the backstage altercation with CM Punk at AEW All In 2023, it appears that the former FTW Champion isn’t the one behind the mask.
According to one “high-level” source, Perry isn’t involved in The Devil storyline. While Perry’s suspension has been up for a while, he has neither returned to live programming nor been backstage at any of the TV tapings.
While plans could change regarding who will be revealed as The Devil, Tony Khan has stated that the people involved in the villainous angle have been the same since the beginning.
