It was originally believed that Carmella would team with Chelsea Green for the women’s showcase match at WWE WrestleMania 39.
However, Carmella disappeared from television, and Sonya Deville replaced her as Green’s tag team partner in the match.
Fightful Select is reporting that she was recently ‘sidelined.’
“A WWE source had indicated to Fightful earlier this week that Carmella had been ‘sidelined,’ but didn’t indicate why. When Fightful asked about unsubstantiated rumors that circulated about her having heat, they were dismissed as ‘ridiculous’ by WWE sources.”
Carmella is still expected to be at Make-A-Wish and Be A Star events as part of the WrestleMania festivities in Los Angeles, CA.
