We have a new report with an update on Lana’s condition after she was “injured” during her match on Monday Night RAW against Nia Jax. The injuries were bad enough to have WWE officials remove Lana from the upcoming Women’s Tag Team Championship Match this Sunday at TLC.
In the new report provided by PWInsider’s Mike Johnson, Lana is expected to be out of action for 3-4 weeks. Despite there being no confirmation, this may set up a return for Charlotte Flair.
In another interesting note, the angle with Lana’s injury was changed throughout the day by Vince McMahon and WWE creative. The dialogue was very much what Vince McMahon had envisioned, with the writers giving Vince what he wanted to see. In general, WWE officials were relatively unhappy with the segments set up for RAW.
One other change involved the match pitting Keith Lee vs. The Miz and John Morrison. Originally, it was supposed to be Lee vs. The Miz, but the match was changed to a Handicap Match at the last second. Despite this change, the idea was for Keith Lee to lose the match no matter what.
