WWE Fastlane takes place on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, IN, and will air live on Peacock, but only one match for the pay-per-view event has been confirmed so far.
John Cena and a mystery partner vs. Solo Sikoa & Jimmy Uso was confirmed on Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown for the upcoming pay-per-view event. AJ Styles was expected to team with Cena before he was laid out by the heels earlier in the show.
Insider account Boozer (#BWE), which has broken past WWE stories, reported the following regarding the build:
“Board are aware of the lack of build for FLane. However it is understood that this month been a rough one with the merger, releases, etc. so expect both Raw and SD to turn up good for the week.”
