Andrade El Idolo will be making his first appearance for CMLL in nearly eight years at Friday’s event in Mexico City at Arena Mexico.
According to a report from the Wrestling Observer, the deal is for a total of five dates.
Additionally, it was noted that El Idolo was in talks with AAA prior to agreeing to work with CMLL instead. CMLL doesn’t often pay big money for outside talent and El Idolo charges a hefty fee for non-AEW appearances, so this came as a surprise.
In other AEW news, Tony Khan has announced that this week’s episode of Dynamite will have a five-minute overrun. “TK” wrote,
