Bandido was injured during this week’s episode of AEW Rampage, which was taped on Wednesday night following the Dynamite TV tapings in Washington, D.C.
The AEW wrestler took to Facebook following his match with Konosuke Takeshita on Friday night to announce that he suffered a broken wrist during the bout. Bandido wrote,
“This is cracked! At the AEW Rampage event against Takeshita I broke my wrist and the first diagnosis has been that it is a triangular fibrocartilag complex injury and I need surgery as soon as possible evento On Monday I will go for the second and final opinion as soon as I have to cancel my closest commitments ! an apology to all the fans.”
As of this writing, there is no word on how long Bandido will be out of action. We wish him a speedy recovery!
