As noted, the ladies of WWE were present at this past weekend’s San Diego Comic-Con event. The first-ever SmackDown Live Women’s Champion Becky Lynch, was interviewed by Noelle Foley of Ringside Collectibles.

Becky Lynch On The Mae Young Classic & Its Competitors:
“When I started wrestling all of them years ago, we’re talking about being on the independents; 12, 13, 14 years ago. Seeing women who were there at the time and working towards, with no light at the end of the tunnel and they kept working and they kept progressing and so, Mercedes Martinez was one and she did so well and it was so great to watch her. Having worked all that time and now get the platform she deserves and Piper Niven, she was amazing and Toni Storm was another girl that stood out to me, she just had a great look and charisma. There are a lot of standouts.”
What Big Match She Wants To Have Next:
“I’d like to… now that I’ve done the tables match, I’ve done the ladders match and I got hit with a chair at the end of it, so now I think it’s only due time I have a TLC match. I would also like to be part of the main event of WrestleMania. I would also like there to be a women’s Royal Rumble, I would also like there to be women’s tag titles and be the first female tag team champion.”
