As we previously reported here on eWn, Becky Lynch tweeted this afternoon that she wouldn’t be at tonight’s WWE RAW TV tapings. The reason for that is due to her dealing with a minor injury.
Fightful Select is reporting that there are “no issues to their knowledge between Lynch and WWE.” It was added that it’s a minor foot injury that Lynch is dealing with.
Regarding Lynch changing her name and dropping any mention of WWE on social media, the report noted that Lynch signed a brand new deal upon returning to the company in 2021. Additionally, “Time off for maternity leave is not a factor,” indicating that time won’t be added to her deal.
Lynch’s three-year deal expires in June 2024. The two sides have yet to start talks on a new deal.
