Bryan Danielson may wear an eyepatch when he competes for the rest of his wrestling career after suffering an orbital bone injury earlier this year.

Danielson has been out of action since late October due to the injury and has been sporting an eye patch in appearances on AEW programming ever since.

On a recent edition of the “Maggie and Perloff” podcast, Danielson spoke about his injury and was asked if he would be wrestling with the eye patch on. He said,

“I’m going to have to talk to the doctors. The benefit of wearing the eye patch is that, the bones are completely healed, but the benefit of wearing the eye patch is that, I still have a little bit of double division. If I take the eye patch off, I tend to get a little bit dizzy because of the motion of the eye. The eye patch stops me from getting dizzy. They may want me to wear a protective mask. We’ll see. It may end up being face mask with eye patch on top of the face mask.”

Danielson added that he was cleared to fly this past Monday. The American Dragon will make his in-ring return during tonight’s episode of AEW Collision.
