This week on AEW Dynamite, Jeff Hardy made his return to make the save for his brother Matt Hardy. The Charismatic Enigma sent The Firm packing with a steel chair and Swanton Bomb.
Prior to his AEW return, Jeff had been absent from AEW television since June 2022 due to being suspended following a DUI arrest in Florida.
On the Busted Open Radio podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray discussed Hardy’s return and warned the high-flying veteran to steer clear of any kind of legal trouble henceforth.
You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:
On the return of Jeff Hardy: “And truth be told, Jeff better not f*** this opportunity up because Jeff’s been given a lot of opportunities. This probably will be the final opportunity for him.”
On what it would take for Jeff Hardy to slip up again: “Listen, the world of pro wrestling does not present nearly as much temptation these days as it did 20 years ago. So if Jeff were to have another slip-up, I would say that’s mostly on Jeff going out of his way to look for the slip-up as opposed to the slip-up just being around you at all times.”
