Bully Ray On Whether LA Knight Is A “One-Trick Pony” – Says He Needs Quality Matches

LA Knight has proven to be immensely popular with the WWE Universe, but is there anything else to him other than his promos?

The former Max Dupri often gets the loudest crowd reactions whenever he appears on TV and has been praised multiple times for his skills on the mic.

Speaking on a recent edition of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, Bully Ray questioned just how long Knight will remain ‘over’ with fans if he doesn’t have more quality matches soon. He said,

“I don’t want to use the term ‘one-trick pony’ but if you surveyed the WWE Universe and you ask them why they’re so into LA Knight, they’re gonna talk to you about his mic skills.

“What are we seeing in the ring from LA Knight right now that makes us as into him as we are into him on the microphone? It’s only gonna last so long. That’s why he needs to have more quality matches.”

At WWE Payback 2023, Knight defeated The Miz in a match officiated by John Cena. On this week’s episode of RAW, The Miz challenged the popular Superstar to a rematch.

Bully Ray, alongside D-Von, recently signed a ‘Legends Contract‘ with WWE, while Knight is also negotiating a contract extension.
