Could Dominik Mysterio ditch his family name in favor of his Guerrero lineage? Bully Ray believes he should.
In 2005, long before becoming a Superstar, Dominik was the subject of a feud between Rey Mysterio and Eddie Guerrero, in which the late wrestler claimed to be his biological father.
Since turning heel at WWE Clash at the Castle, Dominik has insulted his father and recently called himself this generation’s Eddie Guerrero.
While speaking on Busted Open, WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray suggested that Dominik should change his last name. He said,
“I love the relationship with Rhea (Ripley). I love Rhea constantly being in his ear. Taking shots at Eddie Guerrero will always get you heat, saying that Eddie Guerrero was the Dominik Mysterio of his generation.
“Getting back to the name thing, I know they did the angle years ago with Eddie possibly being Dom’s dad, what about Dominik taking the Guerrero last name over the Mysterio last name?
“Wouldn’t it be monster heat for Dominik to renounce, drop, get rid of the Mysterio last name? There can be nothing more insulting to the family than for Dom to say that he is disgusted by this last name.”
Dominik, Finn Balor, and Damian Priest will face the O.C. at Crown Jewel 2022 on November 5th in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
