WWE has announced a championship match for Tuesday’s episode of SmackDown Live. Chris Jericho will defend the United States Championship against Kevin Owens on the show. Jericho beat Owens to win the US Championship at Sunday’s WWE Payback pay-per-view event.
Jericho is wrapping up with WWE as he is set to tour with his rock band Fozzy this Friday in Virginia Beach. The band has shows scheduled for every Tuesday in May starting next week through May 30th. This means that he could appear on SmackDown Live twice this month if he chooses to do so.
