WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion has said she is confident her father Ric will one-day return to the company.
In August 2021, Ric Flair left WWE, and it’s been reported that frustration with his own booking and the booking of Charlotte led to this decision.
It was believed that Ric would join AEW, where his future son-in-law Andrade El Idolo competes but those plans ended following Dark Side of the Ring’s coverage of the Plane Ride from Hell.
Speaking to Hot97, Charlotte said she’s convinced her two-time Hall of Fame father will return, saying:
“Everyone comes and goes, it’s one of those businesses where you never know. I’ve seen people come back that we never thought would come back.”
