Chris Adonis has his own theory about why fans didn’t take to Tyrus as the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion.
Tyrus captured the title in November 2022 but his reign would receive a mixed response from fans up until the reign ended at NWA 75 last month at the hands of EC3.
On Twitter, Chris Adonis argued that it was Tyrus’ in-ring work that led to fans not being on board with his title reign rather than his appearances on FOX News. He said,
“Hey @nwa, Is it ok to say now that our fans didn’t reject Tyrus due to politics or Fox News. IT WAS CAUSE HE CAN’T MOVE”
Adonis’ tweet has since been deleted.
