During an NFL game between the Miami Dolphins and the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday night, Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa took a nasty hit and was carted off the field on a stretcher. This comes after he was hit the previous week but insisted he was just fine.

Following the game, Tagovailoa was taken to a local trauma facility. Thankfully, he was released just hours later and was able to travel back to Miami with the rest of the team.

ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith has been calling on someone to be fired for letting him play the game after being injured the previous week.

Former WWE Superstar and concussion expert Chris Nowinski has now chimed in, blasting the NFL while praising wrestling companies who take concussions more seriously. He wrote,

“In light of the Tua disaster last night, I appreciate more than ever @AEW @TonyKhan, @WWE @TripleH, & @nwa @Billy all inviting me to come teach their talent abt #concussions & the risks of getting in the ring before you’ve recovered. Protecting athletes begins with educating them.”
