Ciampa is confirmed to be Bobby Lashley’s next challenger for the United States Championship. On Monday, we reported here on eWn that Ciampa was in line for a big push with Triple H now being in charge of WWE creative.
Ciampa won one of two Triple Threat matches on RAW, with AJ Styles winning the other. The pair then faced off later in the night to determine the No. #1 contender for Lashley.
It was Ciampa who emerged victorious against Styles thanks to some assistance from The Miz who was in Ciampa’s corner. Ciampa was able to connect with the Fairytale Ending for the win.
