CJ Perry hopes to see more reality shows in the world of professional wrestling from both AEW and WWE.
During a recent edition of the “Insight with Chris Van Vliet” podcast, Perry argued that reality shows have proven to be effective in the past when it comes to recruiting new fans. She said,
“I really hope wrestling in both companies, AEW and WWE, they bring back some reality shows like that because it really brought a lot of women to watch it which I think is really important.”
Perry was briefly a part of Total Divas, which attracted several female fans and inspired RAW’s Maxxine Dupri to enter the wrestling business.
Other WWE reality shows include Total Bellas and Miz & Mrs, while AEW has its own ‘AEW: All Access‘ reality series.
