As noted, Jon Moxley cut a passionate promo following his championship win at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door. He mentioned during the promo that he was “probably confused” after his showdown with Hiroshi Tanahashi. While there was some cause for concern, a new report suggests that Moxley is doing just fine.
According to a report from Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, Moxley’s line about being “probably confused” was a worked line from Moxley himself. He reportedly likes to use the line after intense matchups. Meltzer clarified that Moxley isn’t dealing with a concussion and that he’ll be ready to compete on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite.
Moxley will be part of the Blood and Guts sequel this Wednesday against The Jericho Appreciation Society.
