In a shocking turn of events on the latest episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Rey Mysterio finally got physical with his son, Dominik, after weeks of being goaded and disrespected.
During Rey’s match against LA Knight, Dominik made his way to ringside, causing a distraction and allowing Knight to take advantage and win. Following the match, Dominik continued to disrespect his father, but Rey chose to walk away.
However, things took a turn when Dominik began to verbally attack his own mother and sister, calling Aalyah stupid and disrespecting his own mother, Angie. Rey couldn’t take it any longer and turned around, knocking down Dominik in front of a stunned crowd.
The crowd erupted in a monstrous pop, and Rey finally accepted Dominik’s challenge for a match at WrestleMania.
Following SmackDown, Rey Mysterio took to Instagram to write the following:
“Every man has his limits…Don’t forget, she’s not only your mother, but my wife. See you at WrestleMania.”
Amidst all the controversy surrounding him, CM Punk came out in support of his former rival and commented on the post, writing,
“Good for you Rey. I’ve wanted to punch him for 13 years!”
